July 2005 // Watching a film adaptation of "The Red and The Black" a novel by Stendahl. This must be towards the end, where the woman throws herself to the man to rescue her. The film ended on a rather witty note; the money-obsessed husband was screaming "Thief! Thief!" but was totally unaware that it was her heart that he had been robbed of. Julien Sorel, the young, ambitious, seducer was portrayed by Kim Rossi Stuart who had very beautiful piercing eyes. Posted by Picasa
